Don’t forget to enter for July 3rd, on Active now.
With many thanks to Carol Cashell for her ongoing hard work, here’s a link to the “final” version of the Calendar for 2018. I say “final” as Carol will update monthly as changes arise! Her work never ends…
SEE UPDATED VERSION HERE:
Of course you must first enter that great event on July 3rd, then consider some other options 🙂
The 2018 RNLI Myrtleville to Church Bay 2km open water sea swim will take place on Tuesday, July 3rd, 2018 at 7.00 pm.
Book your holidays some other week 🙂
Entries will open in February.
Thanks to Carol Cashell, the updated calendar is here.
Just thought I’d put in a picture of Maeve – no connection to the calendar 🙂
Entries are coming in steadily and with lots of people now getting 1,500m+ done in the sea, make sure to get yours in for June 10th as well. The swim is now an event of the Cork Harbour Festival and will take place on the same day as the Ocean to City Race.
The 2017 RNLI Myrtleville to Church Bay (entrance to Cork Harbour) 2km open water sea swim will take place on Saturday, June 10th at 5.00pm.
Participants must have submitted their entry online. We can’t accept entries on the day.
First draft of the calendar from Carol Cashell is here. Will be updated monthly. Thanks, Carol.
A reminder from Tadhg Harrington to get your entries in for the Gougane Barra Swim next Saturday, September 3rd at 4pm.
This is a 2.5km handicapped lake swim with a 4.5km option for those who can complete the course in 90mins or less.
Participants have to be capable of swimming 2.5km competently.
It’s an interesting fresh-water swim with good boat cover and shore monitoring, in one of Irelands most beautiful lakes, the source of the Lee.
